87% of solicitors & conveyancers recommend Buyer Protect – here’s why!

Buyer Protect is a reimbursement scheme, exclusively from Searches UK, which protects homebuyer’s money up to the value of £2,050 should their property transaction not proceed to completion.

A survey, recently conducted by Searches UK, revealed that 87% of solicitors and conveyancers would recommend this invaluable product to their clients.

With approximately 25% of property transactions failing to complete, it’s no wonder that Buyer Protect is becoming more popular with homebuyers, solicitors and conveyancers.

Buyer Protect covers mortgage broker fees, valuation fees, structural surveys, solicitor’s fees and disbursement costs for homebuyers, to name but a few.

Homebuyers will even be covered if they decide not to proceed with the purchase; reasons such as if the property sustains damage during the period between offer and exchange, a local authority search highlights that the property is in a flood plain or the land is contaminated. Full terms and conditions apply.

Andrew Stenning, Managing Director at Searches, UK commented:

“We are delighted that so many solicitors and conveyancers are recommending this product to their clients. It is a genuinely worthwhile scheme that so many homebuyers have already benefitted from. When property transactions fail to complete, it can be extremely stressful however Buyer Protect offers added peace of mind.”

Searches UK are committed to providing an excellent service to its clients and will be happy to discuss adding this product to a pack. Visit www.buyerprotect.co.uk for more information about this highly beneficial scheme or call 0800 043 1815 to speak to a member of their team today.

A ‘lighter’ choice for homebuyers is Search Protect, which in principle works very similarly to Buyer Protect, the main difference being that only search costs are protected up to the value of £300.

Over and above the aforementioned, should the property be withdrawn by the vendor, the vendor receives and accepts an offer from another buyer or the vendor is not legally entitled to sell the property, homebuyers would still be covered by both of these protections.

All clients of Searches UK have both of these schemes available to them, simply request that one of these products are added to an order, otherwise the homebuyer will not be covered by this protection.

Homebuyers, who have made use of Buyer Protect, praised it and said:

“We had two house purchase disasters within the space of 7 months. The first was found to have a major structural issue and the second property fell through when the vendor decided not to move. On both occasions we had paid for surveys, searches, mortgage administration costs and legal fees. Searches UK quickly and efficiently provided us with refunds of our costs for both properties. We would have lost thousands of pounds without Buyer Protect. I can’t recommend them enough.”
