SRA warns of con artists using Global Solicitors name

The following warning has been issued by The Solicitors Regulation Authority: 

"The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has issued a warning involving con artists claiming to be from Global Solicitors.

The SRA has received information that members of the public are being sent letters purportedly from Tim Neary and/or Mark Jerusin at Global Solicitors, Dreen, House, Fell Bay Avenue, London SE19 2RR relating to obtaining the benefit of unclaimed inheritance from a previously unknown relative.
The SRA does not regulate or authorise a firm called "Global Solicitors". Therefore any business or transactions through ‘Global Solicitors ‘ are not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or individual(s) authorised or regulated by the SRA.

There was a genuine firm called Global Solicitors which was authorised and regulated by the SRA. Records show that the genuine firm closed in May 2007.
Any information about or dealings with Global Solicitors, particularly if it involves the payment of money, should be reported to the police. Affected members of the public can also report the matter to the SRA via fraud@sra.org.uk.
