SRA to hold free conference on innovations in legal sector

The Solicitors Regulation Authority have announced they will be holding a free conference on new ideas and innovations in the legal sector.

The event is set to take part at Millbank Tower in London at the end of the month , with a panel of experts attending to offer reflections on their own experiences as well as workshops to help guide firms in new ways to do business.

Crispin Passmore, Executive Director for Policy and Education, said: “From large corporate law firms to High Street solicitors, now is the time for innovation in the legal sector.

“This conference will help equip firms with the knowledge they need to get the ball rolling. We want our regulation to support growth and we are here to help firms navigate any barriers and meet their clients’ needs.

“Hear more about how the legal sector is embracing new opportunities, and how we are helping them to achieve this. We will also be updating attendees on our SRA Innovate initiative, launched last November, and the opportunities this offers to tell us your ideas”.

The conference titled “SRA Innovate: new ideas, new opportunities,” will be held from 9.30am to 2pm, including lunch, on 22 March.
