SRA launches new Corporate Strategy, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and Business Plan

Launched today, the new Corporate Strategy sets out the direction the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) will take over the next three years. The strategy is supported by the authority’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, and the Business Plan for 2015. Two further business plans will be published for the remaining years of the strategy.

The strategy sets out the SRA’s commitment to transparency and openness, key operational and regulatory reform and to working with the profession and all their stakeholders to improve standards and uphold key professional principles.

Enid Rowlands, Chair of the SRA Board from 1st January 2015, said: "The publication of our corporate strategy sets out our priorities and how we will deliver them.

"I am committed to making us more transparent, open and accessible, ensuring genuine engagement and involvement. We will routinely publish details of our performance so everyone can see how we are working to meet expectations.

"And I am determined we will continue to improve our operational performance through developing our IT, our people and our processes, and doing everything we can to enhance the experience of those we regulate, the public and our stakeholders."
