The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has announced a series of regional road shows that will take place during September.
The events, run in partnership with compliance experts Legal Eye, will cover topics including; The Future of CLC Regulation, Marketing and Selling Conveyancing Services, Legal Compliance for Law Firms and Flood Proofing Homes.
The sessions are free for SLC members and will give members an update on topical issues such as lenders’ panels, the Green Deal and revisions to the CON29.
Dates and locations for the SLC’s September road shows:
– Tuesday 10th September – Thistle Hotel, Dartford
– Wednesday 11th September — Peterborough Football Club, Peterborough
– Tuesday 17th September — Novotel, Sheffield
– Thursday 19th September — Mercure, Bristol
Simon Law, Chairman of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) said: “As ever, the regional road show events provide our members and others within the legal community with an opportunity to meet, network and gain access to information and advice, which is directly tailored to our profession.

The road shows will offer attendees the opportunity to secure four Continued Professional Development (CPD) points.
Non-members are also invited to attend the sessions, at a cost of £75 per person (refundable for those that join the SLC at the event).
