RSA, formerly Royal & Sun Alliance, have formed a strategic partnership with Litigation Protection and re-entered the legal indemnity market in a bid to increase choice for solicitors and licensed conveyancers.
RSA will, working with independent broker, Litigation Protection, underwrite a range of Legal Indemnity insurances on 19 products, including providing delegated authority to solicitor firms, relating to residential, agricultural and commercial properties with cover of up to £3 million.
Litigation Protection are independent brokers with a knack of bringing innovative insurance products to solicitors, being the first to introduce Legal Expenses Insurance in 1992 and also providing Special Risks Insurance as well as third party funding of commercial litigation through associated companies.
RSA are confident that the current opportunities as well as partnership with Litigation Protection will allow them to secure a dominant position within the marketplace.

The products will be delivered by Litigation Protection to solicitors via self issue kits and also online. Covering a wide range of situations the 19 products cover issues, such as restrictive covenants, absentee landlord, chancel repair, unknown/adverse rights, registered possessory title etc.
