Rowlinsons Solicitors awarded prestigious legal honour

Rowlinsons Solicitors were presented with one of the coveted accolades at the Liverpool Law Society Legal Awards on the evening of 18th May 2013 after a successful year for its innovative property team.

The practice based in Frodsham, Cheshire won the Property Law Award (sponsored by First Title) at the awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Liverpool.

Rowlinsons Solicitors’ accomplishment marked a highly successful year for the firm and the culmination of five strong years that saw them play a major role in the relocation of many BBC staff from London to a new creative hub at MediaCityUK in Salford.

The firm also became a member of HSBC’s super panel, added membership of the Conveyancing Association to its belt, and continued to preserve its Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation.

Tom Parkinson, co-director and Head of Property at Rowlinsons, said: "Winning the Liverpool Law Society Legal Award means a great deal to us here at Rowlinsons. We are not one of the big firms but that hasn’t stopped us from striving to deliver the highest standards in property law services to our clients. It’s an ethos that runs throughout Rowlinsons and is not confined to our property team.  Every one of our employees has contributed to this award and we are very proud of their hard work and dedication."

Client focus

Rowlinsons’ success over the last five years has enabled the firm to invest in technology and communication with its clients at the forefront of the firm’s thinking.

Tom Parkinson continued: "We want our clients to be aware of what is happening, whether it is with their property transaction or another major life event that involves a solicitor, so we have invested heavily in keeping our clients informed and up to date.

"We have boosted our social media offering, developed a case management system so that clients can track the progress of their case and we provide clients with direct means of communication to our staff. These might seem obvious initiatives but keeping clients up to speed is vital.

We have also adapted the way we work to better suit our clients. We open until 7pm two nights a week and open on Saturday mornings to enable clients to contact us outside of their normal working hours.”
