Jacksons Law Firm has appointed Terry Saffin as partner with effect from 30 March 2012. The appointment is the second time that Jacksons Law Firm has appointed a Legal Executive as a partner since the relaxation of the law on non-solicitor appointments in 2009.
Terry joined the firm in 2002 as head of the residential property team, having previously worked as head of legal services for the North East and Yorkshire in a major construction company. She has over 25 years experience in residential conveyancing, and is experienced in all aspects of freehold and leasehold house sales, purchases and all property related matters.
Nigel Kidwell, managing partner commented:
“Her practical skills and sheer hard work make her a valuable addition to the partnership. I am sure Terry will go from strength to strength.”
Terry’s promotion to partner means that Jacksons Law Firm now has 13 partners and over 60 staff based in two offices in Tees Valley and Newcastle. The firm deals with all aspects of commercial and private law.
