New division of Linden Homes launches in North East

House builder, Linden Homes, has launched a new regional business unit, taking their total business units to 11.  The units are across the UK, ranging from the South West, Cornwall, to the North, Newcastle.
The recent announcement sees the UK’s sixth largest house builder implement strategic growth plans, with high quality new homes to be built in the North East region.
Initially Linden Homes North East, as part of the Galliford Try Group, will be based at the Galliford Try Partnerships North office in Ponteland, Newcastle.  The first scheme to be launched is Howden Green, set in the village of Howden Le Wear, County Durham will offer family homes, three and four bedroom, ranging from £169,950.00 to £235,000.00.
Group Managing Director for Linden Homes, Ian Baker, says:
“Linden Homes’ expansion into the North East of England is part of the business’s overall strategic growth plans and we are delighted to have a growing presence in the region. We have a number of sites we are currently in the process of buying and will be announcing further acquisitions shortly.”
Linden Homes say that they are on track with their three year expansion plan, which means achieving in excess of 3,000 annual sales, with their recent land acquisitions.  Linden Homes South West recently acquired a site in Okehampton and are looking to start the construction of 305 units in early 2012 with a further 150 units planned by Linden Homes Western in Bristol.
