myhomemove celebrate a groundbreaking 2012 and reveal plans to treble in size by 2016

Market leading conveyancer myhomemove today announced ambitious plans for growth, building on an exceptional 2012 during which, according to recent HMLR data, they completed more purchase conveyancing cases than any other UK conveyancer.
The firm, who deliver conveyancing directly through their wholly owned ABS Law firm, also announced their intention to shake up the Panel Management market, building on their expertise in conveyancing to develop stronger, more secure options for both clients and introducing customers such as lenders.
Despite the continued uncertainty about housing market transaction volumes, myhomemove is already making progress towards a target to treble in size by 2016, by winning a number of significant new introducers in early 2013 on the back of glowing recommendations from clients and other introducers. A recruitment campaign is well underway to employ a further 60 staff this year, adding to an already established team of over 400.
To add to the organisations recent success myhomemove has also been awarded ‘Best Conveyancing Service’ at the recent Mortgage Strategy Awards dinner. This adds to a number of other high profile awards during 2012.
Doug Crawford, Chief Executive, speaking at the opening of a new dedicated myhomemove training academy in Leicester, commented “2012 was a phenomenal year for myhomemove; we smashed all previous targets for completions and profit and also laid the foundations for the next phase of the business. Our plans for growth are going to challenge the status quo in conveyancing with even greater focus on putting our customers at the heart of what we do by delivering a trusted, values-based service. Having completed over 100,000 mover cases since the credit crunch, it’s refreshing that so many Solicitors, Conveyancers and other staff are keen to join what they often describe as the ‘future of conveyancing’.”
Along with plans to recruit a further 60 employees, myhomemove has also further strengthened its senior team with the appointment, in February, of Jane Connor as HR Director. Jane commented “It’s an exciting time to be joining myhomemove. As the business grows so does our ambition — we aim to make myhomemove the firm that all conveyancers would want to join and none want to leave. We are committed to significant on-going investment in our people through training and are also working to develop the next generation of conveyancers. Our new academy provides a great environment for a variety of training activities, including a 50 seat, training room, 12 seat, fully equipped, model office and break-out rooms for smaller sessions”.
Jane’s appointment follows the appointment of Dev Malle as Group Sales Director in November 2012 and the creation of a new role for Mark Montgomery as Customer Strategy and Marketing Director.
After a number of years of quiet growth, myhomemove have demonstrated that hard work and continual investment in people and service is paying off, laying the foundations for future expansion.
