Matterhorn Challenge – target reached!

The Matterhorn Challenge reached its final conclusion at the Conveyancing Association (CA) Conference and Dinner held at Stamford Bridge, London on the 3rd December 2015. Conveyancing Association sponsors, members and delegates collectively raised the last £3,000.00 required to reach the £50,000.00 target for the Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice. A very special thanks to conference organisers – Modern Law and the team at Lawyer Checker, for their kind sponsorship and the donations made by the 120 guests at the CA Dinner.

Convey Law Conveyancer, Geraint Aubrey, attended at the CA Conference to thank all sponsors and everyone that has donated to this fantastic cause on behalf of Ty Hafan. Geraint climbed four iconic mountains in the Swiss Alps to complete the Challenge.

The Matterhorn Challenge was a prelude to the launch of The Conveyancing Foundation, which was also launched at the Conference. Conveyancing Foundation Chairman, Lloyd Davies, commented:

“We are delighted with the incredible support that we have received from the conveyancing industry in relation to The Matterhorn Challenge – Ty Hafan initiative. I know that everyone at Ty Hafan will be absolutely thrilled that we have achieved our £50,000.00 target – in just 5 months! It shows clearly what we can achieve collectively when we put our minds to charity fundraising.

“The Matterhorn Challenge was a prelude to the launch of The Conveyancing Foundation Free Legal Fee Charity Competition, which has been running for the last 5 years and which has raised over £320,000.00 for charity.

“The Competition allows Conveyancers to raise funds for their chosen charity very easily. Please do not be shy to get involved. The process of setting up this fundraising initiative is incredibly simple. Thank you all for your wonderful support.”
