Lord Chancellor calls in for tea at award winning law firm Rowlinsons Solicitors

The Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice Christopher Grayling together with local MP Graham Evans paid a visit to Frodsham law firm Rowlinsons Solicitors last Tuesday on a whistle-stop tour of the area.

Andrew Graves, Managing Director at Rowlinsons, said “It isn’t every day that you have the Lord Chancellor stroll into the office and share a pot of tea with three of the directors of the practice. Mr Grayling was keen to discover our views on what issues were of concern to the legal sector. A constructive discussion took place exchanging views on a number of topics which were of concern not just to solicitors but more importantly issues affecting members of the public. Although we didn’t agree on all the issues, the Lord Chancellor seemed receptive to some of the views put forward at the meeting and promised to give some further thought to some of our opinions.

“It goes without saying that if ever the Lord Chancellor needs the services of a solicitor, our award winning practice would happily oblige.”
