Leading industry experts sign up to address UK Conveyancers’ conference

Some of the industry’s leading experts have put their weight behind ‘Moving with the Times’, the UK Conveyancing conference, which takes place on 7 September 2011.
Harry Hill, ex-CEO of Countrywide Estate Agents and CPL, Desmond Hudson, Chief Executive of The Law Society and Eddie Goldsmith of The Conveyancing Association are just some of the high-profile speakers who will be attending the full-day conference hosted by Today’s Conveyancer.  This event is being held at the Barcelo Hotel, Hinckley Island in Leicestershire.
‘Moving with the Times’ will focus on key areas affecting all conveyancers involved in residential property.  These include outcome focused regulation, Alternative Business Structures, Lender Panel changes, the Mortgage Market, Professional Indemnity Insurance rule changes and issues concerning the need for appropriate marketing and brand development going forward.
Chris Harris, Today’s Conveyancer’s editor and conference organiser explains:  “The industry is currently experiencing some dramatic changes and conveyancers need to be at the top of their game to survive these new developments.  I decided to organise this conference to challenge traditional practises and provide the industry with a fresh perspective on some of the issues that will be impacting on the sector, and how they can be embraced.”
Chris continued:  “The conference will be an opportunity to hear from leading experts in their fields and discover how the changes will impact on the industry. There will be plenty of opportunities to share ideas, ask questions and network with colleagues.  I aim to make this event a useful, interesting, challenging and enjoyable day.”
Delegate rate for the conference is £175 plus VAT.  Following the conference there will be a special delegate reception and dinner, with 50% of the proceeds on the night going to Shelter.
