Property lawyer relocates to meet commercial demand

A Leeds lawyer has relocated to help meet the demand for commercial property expertise in the area.

Having been based in the city centre office of Ison Harrison for three years, the move to Chapel Allerton will be a change of scenery for commercial property lawyer, Geraldine Levison.

Geraldine is highly experienced in dealing with commercial re-financing, leasehold interest transfers, as well as landlord and tenant legal issues. Qualifying as a commercial property solicitor in 2003, she also specialises in acquisitions, disposals and leases for high street shops, retail outlets and industrial offices.

Commenting on North Leeds and her career prospects, Geraldine stated: “North Leeds is a very buoyant property market and one of the most sought after areas to live and work throughout the whole of the UK. There is a booming business and social scene and its success mirrors that of Leeds city centre. Demand is on an unprecedented scale and as I know the area so well I’m looking forward to working with lots of new and existing clients. This is a great opportunity for Ison Harrison to really showcase the strength of its regional commercial property expertise for the benefit of a rapidly expanding client base.”

Opening over two years ago, Ison Harrison’s Chapel Allerton branch has completed in excess of 1200 conveyancing instructions.

Outside of the city centre, the Harrogate Road branch is one of the firm’s busiest branches, specialising in residential conveyancing, family law as well as wills and probate. At this time, there are 12 branches across the Yorkshire region.

Also commenting on Geraldine’s move was managing partner at the firm, Jonathan Wearing, who stated: “Geraldine’s move to Chapel Allerton will be of huge benefit to the dynamic commercial property scene in North Leeds. Like all our branches around West Yorkshire, our Chapel Allerton staff have a wide and varied knowledge whilst specialising in the key legal area of conveyancing. Geraldine is a very talented and dedicated commercial property lawyer with a tremendous track record – she complements the existing team perfectly and I look forward to seeing the branch continuing to capitalise on its prime location and growing from strength to strength.”
