Howells Solicitors became standout high achievers at last night’s LFS Awards, with a clean sweep of award wins.
It was a proud moment for Howells at yesterday’s Law Firm Services (LFS) Awards, with the firm winning the Wales & The West Midlands Firm of the year regional category, Direct Conveyancing Firm, as well as the highly coveted Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year 2016.
During the day, the newly structured breakout sessions were very well received by delegates. Each of the three sessions, which were hosted by Perfect Portal, Lawyer Checker and Conscious Solutions were informative, engaging and included many fresh thoughts and ideas for conveyancers to take to practice.
Prior to the morning and afternoon sessions, there were talks led by influential keynote speakers: Grant Leboff of Sticky Marketing who opened everyone’s eyes to the three fundamentals of marketing a law firm; and Roger Martin-Fagg, the behavioural economist who presented his predictions for the property market, taking into consideration both Brexit and the American presidential election.
The evening awards ceremony was also a great success. A huge amount of generosity came from the delegates during the fundraising, as Peter Sowerby of Search Acumen delivered a brief but powerful speech about Prostate Cancer UK and the significance of each and every donation made. The thousands of pounds raised throughout the night will be donated to the worthy cause, as well as The Children’s Hospital Charity.
