Gold Standard for Convey Law

Newport-based conveyancing specialists Convey Law have been recognised for their excellent record in staff welfare with a prestigious accreditation.

The law firm has been re-accredited by Investors in People and has been awarded Gold Standard, the highest level, following an in-depth, independent analysis of how they look after their staff. Convey Law are the first in the conveyancing industry to be award the Gold standard.

The news follows a plethora of award wins for the company last year, including the coveted Sunday Times Estate Agents Awards for Best UK Conveyancer and Best Large Conveyancer. The company has invested heavily in staff training and development, as well as offering a host of employee benefits and an engaging charity fundraising programme.

The development of in-house talent at Convey Law was further celebrated last month, with Conveyancer Kathryn Jones qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer. Convey Law sponsored Kathryn through the course whilst she was working in a legal capacity.

Licensed Conveyancer at Convey Law, Kathryn Jones commented:

“The support and training that I have received during my five years at Convey Law has been brilliant.  It is a great place to work and an environment in which you are encouraged, and given the support, to excel.”

Speaking about the decision to award Convey Law with the Gold Standard, Investors in People Assessor, Mavis Elliott-Smith said:

“Convey Law is a cutting-edge organisation, operating at the highest levels of people management practice.  They fully understand the need to train and develop the individuals working for them in order to get the best out of them.  There is a family atmosphere at Convey Law; everyone understands their objectives and they also love to celebrate their successes.  Well done on a very well deserved GOLD Investors in People Accreditation.”

Convey Law Managing Director Lloyd Davies said:

“We believe in investing in our people. Kathryn’s achievements are excellent and we are delighted for her. We have sponsored several individuals over the years to qualify as Licensed Conveyancers and Kathryn is the first of five individuals whom we hope to qualify over the course of the next 18 to 24 months. We believe in investing in our people, and we always will. We would like to think that Convey Law is a good place to work, with great facilities where everyone is encouraged to perform to the best of their ability. We work hard and play hard and have a lot of fun in the process.”
