Final 2 weeks to enter the LFS Awards!

Last week I had the privilege of being given a behind the scenes look at the new venue for the Law Firm Services (LFS) Conference and Awards. Located within the Resorts World building, a short walk from Birmingham International train station, the VOX Centre is sure to be the setting of the best LFS Event yet!

Delegates will be welcomed at the reception area and there will be an array of stands for you to visit where you can talk to a range of service providers. Anyone who joined us at the event last year will know there are likely to be many surprises in store, including competitions, amazing prizes, and maybe some delicious treats.

2016 will be the first year the Conference will be having three separate breakout sessions, each dedicated to vital areas of your business that you should be taking into consideration and that could be of great benefit to you and your firm. Sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon and delegates will need to decide prior to the event which sessions they would prefer to attend. More information on this will be provided closer to the event.

The breakout sessions will consist of:

  • Marketing a Law Firm: led by Conscious Solutions
  • Information Technology in the modern conveyancing practice: led by Perfect Portal
  • Regulation & Compliance: led by Lawyer Checker

The LFS Team are delighted at the number of nominations for the Awards this year, but it’s not too late to register your interest if your firm would like to enter. Every conveyancing firm is encouraged to take part, as there are categories suitable for firms of all sizes and locations, start-ups and well-established conveyancing departments.

You must register your interest by 16th March 2016 and you can do this by visiting the LFS website or calling the Team on 0844 414 2911.
