Eddie Ross to leave QualitySolicitors

Chief Exec of QualitySolicitors Eddie Ross is set to leave his post, with Ben Greco drafted in as his replacement.

Ben Greco is currently the managing director of QS conveyancing panel partner Move With Us, a position he will continue to hold once he takes up his new role. Both firms are part of the same group, Simplify Legal.

Eddie Ross will vacate his position as CEO on 1st May after three years at the helm.

A statement read: “From 1st May Ben Greco, Managing Director of the leading property services firm Move with Us, part of the Simplify Group, will be taking the helm at QualitySolicitors, in addition to his current role.  Eddie Ross, after over three years with QualitySolicitors and CEO since the start of 2014, is stepping down, and will continue to provide consultancy support to the legal network. The QualitySolicitors Partner Firms have been advised of these changes.

“Move with Us, with whom some QualitySolicitors firms already work with as a conveyancing panel partner, is a recognised market leader in lead conversion in the sector.”

Ben Greco said: “In the last two years QualitySolicitors has strengthened its brand position, in particular online, and created a powerful lead generation engine. I am excited about working with the network to really maximise the value of those leads for the benefit of the QualitySolicitors member firms directly, and in further strengthening the QualitySolicitors brand.”

Eddie Ross said:  “I wish Ben every success as he takes QualitySolicitors on to the next stage of its journey as the UK’s leading legal network. We have helped our firms consolidate a differentiated brand proposition in the marketplace, and now the lead conversion experience of Move with Us will further increase the value of membership for our firms.”

The most recent accounts of the central QS organisation – for the 15 months to 31 March 2015 – showed a loss of £2.7 million and net liabilities of £15.9 million.
