East Midlands region see uptake in conveyancing service demand

Despite reports showing the property market is beginning to “cool” after the summer, this doesn’t seem to be detracting business from conveyancing firms, such as Headleys Solicitors based in the East Midlands.

Headleys have announced uptake in conveyancing services has seen a surge in recent months. Chartered legal executive, Jackie Frampton is based at the Lutterworth office and has claimed the business has seen a 50% increase in the volume of conveyancing work compared to last year. The team is also said to be ready for the expected rush throughout the autumn season.

At the firm’s Hinckley office, Kelly Roberts, who works as a conveyancing associate, deems the initial surge in these services was due to an increase in first time buyers within the region. However, she continues by analysing the current market, saying there is now a wide range of clients being attained from other regions.

The experts from Headleys advise those who are looking to buy or sell property throughout the UK should be realistic when managing the financial aspects. Gaining guidance from a qualified professional is always the best option for these significant transactions.

Though the conveyancing process takes time, consumers need to be made aware that many of the elements involved are necessary, to ensure any legal or health and safety issues are dealt with. Headleys recommend that patience should be encouraged.

You should also be mindful of the wider picture of your client’s circumstances while they are moving. Advising them on early planning and preparation involved could help reduce time and stress for all parties involved in the home buying and selling process.

Have you seen a fluctuation in conveyancing services at your firm? How do you see this changing in the coming months?
