Davis Gregory becomes latest firm to join CQS

Cheltenham law firm Davis Gregory has become the latest firm to be accredited with Quality Conveyancing Scheme (CQS) membership by the Law Society.
CQS is a mark of excellence, and provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices.  Davis Gregory has become the 1458th firm to join the scheme, with 875 branches.  A total of 2333 outlets have CQS accreditation.  Firms applying for membership undergo a strict application process with the Law Society.  The CQS involving assessment, training, audits and annual reviews.  
The CQS has support from leading industry bodies including the CML, Land Registry, Building Societies Association and Association of British Insurers.  Accreditation is becoming more important as lenders make CQS membership a requirement of firms on lenders panels.
