Convey Law, a firm specialising in residential conveyancing, joined the ranks of those who have achieved the Alternative Business Structure (ABS) certification from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC).
Convey Law were subject to an 18 month process where the CLC reviewed all of their internal procedures, processes, estimates and documents. Attaining ABS certification is not an easy process and the CLC found Convey Law to be fully compliant and were satisfied that the firm comply with all of the CLC’s Regulatory Principles.

For any firm, becoming an ABS allows non-legal personnel to gain an interest in the company. The potential benefit being that a wider net can be cast when looking for potential directors, partners and members.
